What is social media for business and what is the importance of a social media marketing strategy?

Social media networking sites have become a crucial part of any successful social media marketing strategy. By running targeted campaigns on sites such as Face book, Twitter, You tube not only does it lift your brand awareness, builds loyalty with your fans but it will also provide you valuable back links to your website when executed correctly. This can lead to your content getting ranked on Page 1 of Google and other search engine sites.

The following are Social Media For Business Strategies I use that you can implement straight away and get your social media campaign on the road to success

Social Media Networking Sites: Build a fan base and get back links to your content at the same time.

• Join no less than 50 niche related face book groups and interact with members and post relevant, value driven content. This will not only build a loyal fan base by providing free interesting articles but will also give your content vital back links to lift your search engine rankings

• Become a member of a content syndication tribe. There are both free and paid options and this works on the principle of reciprocation. You can build a strong tribe of members who will syndicate your content for you as you so it for them.

• Join a social book-marking site such as Only wire. This is also a free or paid membership. Once set up your content can get posted automatically to over 35 high ranking social networking site.

Social Media For Business Content Creation:Research, and write content on niche relevant keywords that have a good number of global searchers per month.

• Commit to writing content on a consistent basis and post regularly on the above social media sites.

• Commit to building relationships with other niche related members and syndicate each others content

• Digg Digg

• Xml Site Map

• Use Your keyword for Your Category
