There are a few important on page seo strategies you can use to ensure you get a good search engine results position (serps) from Google when your content is ranked for the keyword/keyword phrase you are targeting.

On Page Seo Is Essential

The following on page seo strategies are crucial if you want to get a high search engine ranking on the organic results pages.

 Your Keyword/Keyword Phrase Must Be In The Following:

•  Title, preferably at the start eg if my key word was Link builder I would make my title Link builder – Learn how To Generate Quality Back links.
• Description, Google uses the first 160 characters of your post for the description on the search pages. Make sure you have your keyword in the first sentence preferably and when using it in the “all in one seo” and make sure not to exceed the 160 characters allowed.
• Keyword Density, A good rule of thumb is to have your keyword appear once for every 100 words. This equates to around 1.2-1.4 of the total word count.
• Internal Anchor Text  Links, A great link building strategy that really helps improve your page rank on the search engines is to write in blocks or “campaigns. This involves publishing 4 posts at a time, all relevant to each other. Then use anchor text links to link them to each other in the body of the post just as I have in this post. I also like to include them at the end of my post as related links.
• Url .This should be cut shorter to just be your domain name and the keyword, not the actual title of the post.

You may wonder why some sites don’t do this. You will also notice that they have a high page rank, that is over 5.Google views these sites as authority sites and gives them top result page positions even without them implementing any of the on page seo strategies I have out lined here. So until we earn our high page rank stripes we must abide by the guidelines set out here for on page seo strategies.

• Tags , Use these sparingly always have the main one first and add perhaps up to 2 others ,one can also be your name which is a good idea.
• Category, make sure you list the post under the relevant parent category. For example if the keyword I was marketing was creating back links I would put it into the seo category on my blog.
• Alt Tags, all images need to have the keyword as the title of the image.It is also a good idea to put a brief description in the description part using the keyword and describing the relationship to the image you chose.
• Be use to use the H1,H2 and H3 tags once each with your keyword as well.
• The body of your post should be longer then 3450 words and contain the main keyword once for every 100 words written as a general word of thumb.Be sure to include the keyword in your first and last sentence for optimum on page seo results.

There is of course other considerations to getting your content on the top search engine results pages and they include using off page seo methods such as link building strategies. Google takes into account the amount and quality of the links you have going to your page. Keyword Research is another important factor in your ranking. Knowing how to find good search volume keywords that have “Cracks in the Armour” as I call them will give you a higher chance as well.

XML Site map: Just download activate and forget. This plugin helps the bot spiders crawl your site better making it easier for your page to be indexed.

Digg-Digg Share plugin:This plug in makes it easier you you and your visitors to share you post in the social media networks.
